Eileen Ellen Curness aged 70 when she died on 23rd December 2007 in the care of the Angels at Princess Alice Hospice in Esher. She lived in Ashford in Middlesex, she survived her parents, her sisters and her beloved Husband Laurie. She was so brave she ignored the signs of bowel cancer so she could nurse her beloved Laurie through bowel cancer, mrsa and finally lung cancer, he was taken from her on the 15th February 2006. She bravely battled through treatment until it was withdrawn in May 2007, I cared for you, took u shopping badly pushed you in your wheelchair ... You both leave me (Wendy - daughter, Clare - daughter, Colin - son-in-law and your 2 beautiful grandchildren Leo and Harriet).
Mum I miss you so very much, it doesn't get any easier, I cry each day for my Mum and my Dad I wish you could have seen my new garden to tell me what is what. The only reason I get through each day is knowing that you are no longer suffering and in pain and re-united with your beloved Laurie.

Miss you loads Mum and Dad, has taken me a while to bring myself to leave you a message. Not a day goes by that I dont think of you both and I just wished you didnt have to leave us. Im doing ok now so dont worry got the all clear and dont have to see the doctors for another year. I moving back to Staines soon to be nearer to Wend and feel its time to come home to where I belong. Hope you and Dad are happy wherever you have gone to and the suffering is no longer. Thank you for bringing me into this world I will always love you xxxx
